LIKE FIRE AROUND THE BRIM.

Friday nights in NYC used to be all about The Knocks' Mr. Jpatt tearing up the decks at Antik, the highlight of which was always his immaculate blend of Passion Pit's "Sleepyhead" and The Jackson 5's "I Want You Back". Then when Xaphoon Jones moved to New York and witnessed the magic, he took it one step further and turned Jpatt's segue into a full length track, which he's been playing out around town for a minute now and finally today unveiled on his brand new mixtape Xaphoon Jones Volume 2. Basically, it's perfect. Grab it below and hit up Ill Roots for the whole tape, since it's kind of furiously brilliant.

Discover Western Australia's best-kept secret

The owner of Maitraya has claimed that the Western Australian holiday resort is the region's best-kept secret.

The mansion retreat of Maitraya may be Western Australia's best-kept secret, but it won't stay that way for long, with the unique destination attracting worldwide attention.

Travellers arriving into Australia on flights to Perth can reach the resort in under an hour, while the private airstrip and helipad mean that super-rich guests can get there even more easily.

The exclusive resort can accommodate up to 21 guests at a time and features include an indoor heated pool, as well as an outdoor swimming lagoon. Guests can also relax in the sauna and spa or get active on the tennis court and football pitch.

Perhaps the most attractive feature is the bespoke approach that the owner takes towards optional extras, though.

As part of a seven-month online competition, global citizens will be encouraged to vote for their favourite natural marvel, with the Great Barrier Reef also nominated, proving that nature-loving travellers taking flights to Australia will be spoilt for choice.

Other global landmarks nominated include the Grand Canyon in America, the Black Forest in Germany and South America's Iguazu Falls.

Malarndirri McCarthy, the Australian tourism minister, said that she would be writing to celebrity fans of Uluru, such as Oprah Winfrey, to encourage them to vote.

CAN'T GET YOU FAR ENOUGH AWAY.

Savoir Adore are kind of the most adorable band in the game and they prove their eternally endearing qualities once again with new track "Sparrow," yet another promising step towards a potentially brilliant second album after the unveiling of "Loveliest Creature" earlier this year. While the Brooklyn dreampop crusaders have always reminded us of Stars, under the light of "Sparrow" (which they've been so kind to give us the exclusive premier for below) they seem cut from a more classic americana cloth - sweet without being saccharin and catchy as fuck.

Spastic drums and fuzzed out guitars ground the song's ethereal levity, while understated synths sparkle in the distance and round out the track's breezy melancholy. Exceedingly infectious - as is usually the name of the game with Savoir - the track puts them in line with some of America's great pop duos. Could Deidre and Paul (not that they're "together" per se) be 2011 indie pop's answer to Sonny and Cher? Or maybe Tammy Terrell and Marvin Gaye? But you know, less dramatic... and white? Come on out to Popshop next Thursday and judge for yourself, tickets still on sale here but going fassst.

Good or Bad Advice? How Can You Tell?

There are quite a few gold blogs out there. We all know that. They have a ton of information they give out, we all are aware of that. Do you listen? Do you use the tools that we provide to you? Or do you just read the information provided, toss it in the back of your head, and then a few weeks later wish you would have used it? Hmm.... I know I am guilty of this (see the alchemy disenchant a while back for Maelstroms).

I am asking this because we all talk a big game, on things that we do or have done that makes us gold. I know I try to give you my side of the WoW gold game, so you can prosper in this "game within a game". Have I given you bad advice? I would like to think no. Have I given you good advice? Well, I do my best to try to write my posts to make you think. I try to make posts that are not "server" dependant. Of course, due to my style, some things fall into that niche.

But working with many folks on many servers, I see that most markets flow from server to server. Be it the "small" low population server, the "mid" server, and the high population servers. This will probably get some hate, but experience doesn't lie. We sell the same goods, we use the same mats to craft, we have the same dungeons, the same heroics, the same locations, well, I can go on and on, but I think you get my point.

When bloggers cover information, we "kinda" always assume that there will be comments. Sometimes there are, other times there aren't. I for one like to read other folks blogs, and try to comment when I can, especially if I am agreeing or disagreeing with a certain "arguement" that they present to the masses. As a gold blogger, as a gold maker, and as a experienced AH PvP'er, I am stubborn in what I know makes gold in the game, and if I disagree with X blogger, I try to give my two cents.

Not to start a fight or hate on them, just to explain why I do not agree with their post. I for one know that alot of time is invested into blogging, and if you blog, it's your blog, and I don't want to take that away. If you feel the need to delete a comment of mine, so be it (this has recently happened, a few times to be exact). Some folks don't like to be called out, but at least they see my comment before it does get tossed in the trash...

I really enjoy when I hear something new that I haven't heard about. Lately, it's just the same ol', same ol' that is repeated over....and over.....and over. It gets bland.

Now enough of my rambling on, the second part of the title of this post is "How can you tell?". Well, that's the tough part. The way I try to explain my information allows you to search your AH to see if it's profitable on your server before you jump feet first. Although I do write an occasional "stockpile" post, I try to explain how I come to that conclusion so you can see exactly what and where I come from. You can once again use that information to see if the advice I toss your way is valid for you: both on your server and with your bankroll.

Now I do have a tagline at the top of my page, The Worst WoW Blog Ever, but I am confident in what I post for ya'll, and that you will make a nice chunk of gold in this little game called World of Warcraft.

Now I gotta ask....Do I give good or bad advice? How did you tell? Have I made you more gold than I lost you? Have I coached you? Have I helped you on IRC, JMTC Fridays, Emails, or Skype? How did it work out? Holler out, let me know.

I would really appreciate it, as sometimes bloggers just need a little nudge to keep writing...so nudge me.

His Eye Is on the Cruise Missile

Glenn Greenwald, who's been posing some good questions about Obama's Libya speech as a revelation of his (that is, Obama's) belief in American exceptionalism, linked today to a recent post by Andrew Sullivan, calling it "long and thoughtful." Well, he was half-right. It's about as thoughtful as most of Sullivan's writing, which is not very.

Sullivan is sure that the US-led attack on Libya is a good thing:
In this, especially with this Libya clusterfuck, Obama reverted to embracing the forces he was elected to resist and restrain. One appreciates the difficulty of this and the horrible moral dilemma of Benghazi; and I still hope for success - because I see no sane alternative to Obama anywhere and no one can hope that the monster Qaddafi stays in power.
"The monster Qaddafi." Well, yes, Qaddafi is a very bad man. That's been well-known for a long time, which raises the question of why the US, England, and other European countries decided to rehabilitate him. That began during the Bush administration, but did the Obama administration do anything to stop it? Before now, I mean? Nope: several people have pointed out John McCain's junket to Libya in 2009, which McCain himself has conveniently forgotten:
In August 2009 he led a delegation of senators, including fellow hawks Lindsey Graham and Joe Lieberman, on a trip to visit the Libyan leader in Tripoli. Discussed during the visit was delivery of — get this — American military equipment to Gadhafi (a man with American blood on his hands no less).

“We discussed the possibility of moving ahead with the provision of non-lethal defense equipment to the government of Libya,” the AP quoted McCain as saying at a press conference. McCain also noted that “ties between the United States and Libya have taken a remarkable and positive turn in recent years.”

One can also ask whether firing cruise missiles into Libya is the best or only way to protect civilians. And have you heard that Secretary of State Clinton told Congress that Obama would ignore any Congressional war resolutions restraining US military action in Libya as "an unconstitutional encroachment on executive power"? Well, now you have.

But back to Sullivan and American exceptionalism. First he admits:
But, of course, that [i.e., this] land mass was available so easily because of the intended and unintended genocide of those who already lived there - which takes the edge off the divine bit, don't you think? Call me crazy (and they do) but my concept of God does not allow for God's blessing of genocide as a means for one country's hegemony over the earth.
I'm not going to call him crazy, just ignorant. The Roman Catholic Sullivan's concept of God doesn't square with Biblical conceptions, which show "God's blessing of genocide" in the conquest of the Promised Land by his Chosen People. And "that land mass" became available to the US not only through the elimination of the indigenous people, but through conquest of other countries established by rival European powers, especially Spain. Much of the southwestern US was simply taken from Mexico by war.

He goes on (and on):
This is not to say that America doesn't remain, by virtue of its astonishing Constitution, a unique sanctuary for human freedom. We are freer here in terms of speech than in most other advanced countries, cowed by p.c. laws and restrictions. We are freer here in labor and capital than most other countries. To feel pride in this is natural. It is why I love this place and yearn to be one of its citizens. And the vast wealth of an entire continent, unleashed by freedom's flourishing, gave this land of liberty real and awesome global power, which it used to vanquish the two great evils of the last century - Nazism and Communism. This is the noble legacy so many now seek to perpetuate, with good intentions and benign hearts, despite the disastrous and costly interventions of the last decade.
"The vast wealth of an entire continent" was not "unleashed by freedom's flourishing" -- as Sullivan admits, it was unleashed by stealing it from the people who lived there before. The history of American capitalism isn't pretty, and it's ill-timed of Sullivan to prattle about US "freedom in labor and capital" on the 100th anniversary of the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire, and as anti-labor forces are rampant. Even granting that World War II was "noble", and not everyone would, it was the exception rather than the rule. Before that war, the US had a nasty record in the Western hemisphere and elsewhere. After the war, the US usually fought Communism by stomping on liberty, replacing elected governments with brutal dictatorships, which our propaganda called "the Free World." Even where the repression we supported was not quite as harsh, we demanded economic policies that took a heavy toll in human life and health.

But Sullivan has always been patriotically ill-informed, like so much of the Right, and ready to vilify anyone else who criticizes US foreign policy. He can bitch about Sarah Palin all he wants, but he helped pave the way for her, Michelle Bachmann, and other professional ignoramuses.

Helping out on the remix package, we got our boy Lightwaves on the case, who takes the Sufjan-meets-Postal Service original and electrifies it into dreamy pop oblivion. It's got the same breathtaking endgame as the original but takes you on a very different journey to the finish line - instead of floating above Brooklyn rooftops on the wings of Freelance's lo-fi synths and frontman Judah Dadone's gentle vocal, you're moonwalking through fields of neon fireflies under fluorescent night skies. Fully equipped with Lightwaves signature handclap drums and heart-fluttering synth drops, it comes complete with a dance break in the middle eight that will get even thems without a pulse on the dancefloor - clear some space to sway around your apartment to this one, people.

Glyph "Auto Auction" Bot - What I Now Know...

Here is a HUGE issue as of late that is extremely frustrating to deal with, the AH Glyph bot.

I have just recently started "fighting" with one, and regrettably, I have very little defense. I am working on finding ways to work around them, and as of yet, I have found little that works, other than using....cough....blizzard tickets, which I have seen absolutely nothing in return.

This bot, well, they are undercutting me (every 10 minutes to be exact), are hard to fight....if you are in the same situation, you know what I mean.

I first hoped that I just had a wow addict on my hands. Then I realized there must be some automation involved. I did not see this toon show up anywhere. Really. No where. Gone. Cancel their auctions, repost undercutting me. Jeeezus. Talk about total frustration......

So after some "homework" to find out more about how they work (so I can decipher how to beat these things), I got some information, and what I found was disturbing. Here's a few clips from an article on them...

" It provides automatic buying, bidding, selling and undercuting for the World of Warcraft auction house. On top of providing a quick easy way to buy and sell items, it includes a method called "baiting" which will take advantage of undercutters to net you more items at the prices you want!"

"XXXXXX runs without the use of the World of Warcraft client, it is nearly impossible for the program to be detected. The program uses your browser to navigate the Remote Auction House the same way any human would. Since the program started there have been no bans as a result of using this software, and it is unlikely there ever will be."

Those are fairly huge claims, huh? Now a fellow blogger (remind me if it's you) posted a while back about getting a "AH botter" banned, but in that case, they were using a toon in game, which is another program all together. The part that gets me is.....this is all done by remote. You don't even have to be in the game. So therefore no "watch" by Blizzard.

Now before I toss my laptop across the room, I am going to calm down. I am still getting sales here and there, but..... I am losing. It's extremely hard for me to say this as I feel that no matter what I have seen on the market, I have prevailed in one sense of the word or another. But I am losing. There. I said it again.

I am going to keep diving deeper into how I can beat these, and you can bet that when I find something, I will holler. For right now, I have to say our only defense is offense.....

And one last thing on this.....a quote from the author of one of these hated programs.

"Sorry for the lack of updates the past couple weeks. I have been extremely busy with school and just completed my last final. I am going to start working on adding new features and fixing any bugs you guys have reported. The next update should include the ability to limit the amount of items purchased as well as a few other features. Stay tuned as I will post updates in my progress."

Great.....other features? Blizz, if you somehow read this, please do something, this can and will destroy your game. Not only for me, but others as well. Just read your forums:

Gold a safe haven and a better option to invest in times of crisis

Gold Prices reached their highest levels in 35 years

Investors describe gold as a safe haven investment and less risky where they can pour their liquidity, in light of sharp fluctuations that characterize the movement of the financial markets and global crisis, and the impact of political unrest and natural disasters that swept several areas in the world today.

Gold prices are high to a point they did not reach in the last 35 years , after the spot price of an ounce reaches 1420 dollars at the moment , it is a golden opportunity for investors who want to preserve their money in clear and transparent investment .

According to the forecasts of some international analysts an ounce of gold will be worth $ 1700 by the end of 2011. The weakness of the US Dollar , the European debt crisis and possible bailout for Portugal and the rising inflation are factors that may boost the price of Gold to very high levels some experts say $5000 , $10000 or even $80 000 , , Gold has always been considered as real money , buying it and holding it was and is always the best way to preserve the wealth in a time of uncertainty and fluctuations.....

Travellers Set To Suffer As BA Cabin Crew Votes for Strike

British Airways cabin crew seems to be in no mood of giving up their fight as they vote overwhelmingly in favour of fresh strikes. This is the fourth time the cabin crew has voted for an industrial action in two years.

The dispute between BA and its staff brewed over pay and working conditions but currently the matter seem to be focussed on the decision of the airline to take away travel perks from staff members who participated in previous strikes. BA has witnessed and experienced a total of 22 days of strike last year in which the airline is reported to have lost an estimated £150m. Several flights were also cancelled or delayed creating scenes of chaos at different airports and troubling passengers who bought BA flight tickets.

Unite announced that over 80 percent of the airline’s cabin crew with valid voting papers voted in favour of the strike against the national flag carrier. The date of the strike is yet to be announced by the union but it is likely that the industrial action is going to be called on during the Easter holidays, denting travel plans of hundreds. Several travellers who were lucky enough to procure tickets on cheap flights are sure to be disappointed if the strike indeed ‘strikes’ during Easter holidays, which is a popular travel season and tickets on cheap flights are not easy to come by.

The general secretary of Unite, Len McCluskey was quoted by online sources as stating, "This vote shows that cabin crew remain determined to win justice. We urge BA's boardroom to see this as a clear message that they must think again about how to regain the trust and confidence of a significant part of their cabin crew operation." Len McCluskey further added, "We continue to be in discussions with the company to find a solution to this long-running dispute."

British Airways also seemed in favour of sorting things out peacefully. "We began talks with Unite earlier this month, and those talks are continuing. We hope they will bring an end to this dispute, which is what the overwhelming majority of our cabin crew want," BA was quoted some of the leading news portals.

Keith Williams, BA’s new chief executive, promised that the airline is prepared to face any adverse situation. Mr Williams was confident as he promised that British Airways is going to continue with its long-haul flights from Heathrow, as well as the scheduled services from Gatwick and London City in the event of a strike.

However, Mr McCluskey is surely not on a same page with Mr Williams on this one. Mr McCluskey shrewdly observed, "He (Keith Williams) has no way of knowing what weird and wondrous initiatives we might take should we engage in industrial action."

Today Tour to Mount Bromo has Opened for Visit East Java 2011

Mount Bromo tourist attraction re-opened to the public, after closing for five months due to an increase in volcanic activity.

At that period there has been an earthquake tremor continuously with a maximum amplitude of 1-25 mm, six times the eruption with an amplitude of 30-40 mm for 17-32 seconds, and lava from the crater lip was also observed with the clamor weak to moderate.

Center for Volcanology and Geological Hazard Mitigation (PVMBG) urged the public to prepare a mask covering the nose and eye protection.

In addition, the roof of the house affected by heavy rain of volcanic ash, to be cleaned immediately to prevent the collapse of roof due to heavy load. How to make gold in instances

Some vanilla enchanting materials have had their prices increased dramatically in the past few months on some realms, notably Large Brilliant Shards as they are no longer obtained from the short instances, like Scholomance and Stratholme due to their level drop after Cataclysm.

For example, Large Brilliant Shards sell for 60g these days on the realms I play on, Small Radiant Shards 35g and Large Radiant Shards even 100g sometimes.

Considering how many you can get from one instance run and how fast, it's a nice way to make some extra gold if you have enchanting!

You also get lots of greenies that disenchant into sometimes even more valuable dusts and essences!

Here are some of the most valuable materials and where to obtain them. If you're doing this on a level 85 toon, you don't have to think which instance is the fastest, you will hit the 5 instances/hour limit very fast in every case. If you dont have a level 85 toon, better to level one there! :)

Scholomance

Small Radiant Shards

This was better pre-Cataclysm when you could aggro the whole downstairs from the bridge near the entrance, making the instance both faster and more fun. (In soviet Scholomance the mobs come to you!)

Engineers can still however aggro the zombies and skeletons in the cellar by tossing a Saronite bomb into the ground when you're above the cellar. The blast radius goes through the floor and aggros everything downstairs. Less running, unless you're going for the boss in there! Some other bombs may work too, haven't tested.

Stratholme

Large Radiant Shards

The instance is divided into 2 parts, "living side" and "undead side". You may want to stick to Balnazzar's "living side", depending on what you are farming. Both large shards tend to drop from that side. You can find mostly Small Brilliant Shards in the "undead side", which are not worth the effort usually.

Blackrock Spire

Large Brilliant Shard

This instance is huge, but every boss drops a Large Brilliant Shard. In addition to that, every greenie will disenchant into Illusion Dusts and Greater Eternal Essences if you choose to annihilate every monster in your path.

This instance is divided into 2 zones too, Upper Spire (UBRS) and Lower Spire (LBRS), the first one being a former raid instance. Upper is on the left side behind the stairs.

There's also valuable chests in this instance which may contain very valuable profession recipes, so in my opinion, this instance is the best one to farm large brill shards!

Blackrock Depths

Large Brilliant Shard

You should focus on the upper city, since the lower part of the instance gains you mostly Small Brilliant Shards which still are not worth anything sadly. There's the handy "mole" next to the entrance portal so you don't have to run into the upper city anymore!

Overall, depending on your realm's prices, its easy to make a few thousand gold pieces in a very little time, possibly even more if you find a valuable treasure chest on your way.

Marquette University to offer domestic partner benefits...to those who register with the state in a registry that is the subject of court challenge.

Going on two years ago, Wisconsin adopted a domestic partner registry in spite of the fact that it has a "super-DOMA" constitutional amendment. Almost immediately, the registry was challenged as unconstitutional, as I wrote about here. Well, the past week has seen two items of related news.

The same Wisconsin governor who has been forcefully criticized for his union-busting efforts recently fired the law firm hired by the previous governor to defend the domestic partnership law. Although the Associated Press account suggested he would appoint a different attorney, it's unclear whether that would actually be a blessing. The excellent lawyers from Lambda Legal remain in the case defending the DP registry, and it is hard to imagine any lawyer appointed by the governor actually helping them in their defense.

Meanwhile, Marquette University, a Jesuit school in Wisconsin, announced last week that it will extend domestic partner benefits to those same-sex couples who register with the state. There's no reason why this private university's benefits should turn on the constitutionality of the state's DP registry, so I am sorry to see the two tied together. Schools affiliated with the Catholic Church have had various difficulties providing employee benefits to partners of their employees. But that difficulty has also produced some creativity. A few years ago, Georgetown University began offering benefits to "legally domiciled adults." A "legally domiciled adult" is someone who has lived with the employee for at least six months, is not married or related to the employee, and has a "close personal relationship," shares living expenses, and is financially interdependent. Same-sex partners qualify, but so do other relationships, including different-sex unmarried partners.

While Marquette's approach is a more explicitly pro-gay effort, Georgetown's is more consistent with "beyond marriage" values. As long as different-sex couples must marry, the unmistakable message remains that marriage is a relationship more valuable than all others. The Alternatives to Marriage Project regularly advocates for "plus one" benefits not tied to marriage. In a blog post last month I criticized Lambda for its representation in Arizona of only state employees with same-sex partners when those with different-sex partners also lost DP benefits when the state legislature undid the reform efforts of former governor Janet Napolitano.

Spiderman' scales Dubai's Burj Khalifa tower

A controversial freeclimber has completed his record-breaking attempt to climb the tallest building in the world.

French daredevil Alain Robert climbed into the record books last night (March 28th) after reaching the top of the Burj Khalifa tower.

Mr Robert, who has earned the nickname Spiderman, took six hours to ascend the 828-metre high Dubai skyscraper, which is the tallest building in the world.

A large crowd of visitors gathered to cheer him on and as night fell he had to be lit up by spotlights so he could continue his ascent.

His gruelling climb began two hours later than planned at 18:00 local time, meaning he didn't reach the top until around midnight.

The notorious freeclimber often eschews ropes and harnesses in his death-defying climbs, but on this occasion he was forced by Dubai authorities to take safety measures.

Gold on a Bearish Signal ?

The fact that gold price made a new high and came off the same day and set lower was quite bearish says analyst Mihir Dange of Arbitrage , right now he is playing the market from neutral to short aspect , selling small taking some profit off the table , we have to definitely go beyond $1450 in order to renew bull interest , the information on the European debt crisis and the probable bankruptcy of Portugal did not play the catalyst they it should have for the price of Gold so far... Gold had a significant run up until here ...but the momentum is no dying , many experts sees gold reaching at least $1500 by the end of this year...

TINY LITTLE WAVES OF THE FOREST.

We're pretty much all about the burgeoning Miami music scene - I mean, who hasn't been inspired by the sounds of the Miami since Will Smith first preached the city's gospel way back when? Born of the hot hot heat, palm trees and neon pastels of the Magic City are up and comers like Lil Daggers, Millionyoung and of course the amazing ANR, and if you haven't gotten lost in the very special jams of the latter to this point you need to make haste and do so immediately. ANR's debut album Stay Kids is chock full of psychedelic pop gems but none more epic than their STRAIGHT UP power ballad, "The Endless Field of Mercury." The track starts out sweet: choral arrangements and soft keys as far as the eye can see. Then come crashing waves of percussion and urgent vocals that put them somewhere between Yeasayer and Local Natives, and suddenly you've got a severe case of contagious elation on your hands. And though we posted the mp3 yesterday it gets better still - the music video is JUST as epic as the song and strikes the same angelic yet powerful chord - who knew that 1970's beauty pageants could be so affecting?

Then there's the live show, which takes things to another level entirely. Not since The Dodos have we witnessed a two piece unleash so much raw power and intensity on stage, as drummer/vocalist Michael-John Hancock and virtuoso keyboard/synth man Brian Robertson Not planning on heading to Miami any time soon? Worry not - we got you covered. Check them out at the next Popshop (tickets here) along side Walk The Moon and Savoir Adore next Thursday April 7th.

His Eye Is on the Bulldog

My minister friend on Facebook is at it again:
Worship this morning was such a gift...amazing music by the choir...great hymns... Friend's college age son came and asked, on way to church, "Will this guy keep me awake?" Told her that was pressure. Meeting with a few key leaders over lunch...and then organ concert by Charles Webb tonight. I am thankful. (And Butler and Bloomington South both won big games!) God is good...and still adjusting my heart.
If Butler University and one of the local high schools won big basketball games, a person of faith can see the hand of God in it, and God is good. Not so good to the defeated opponents, of course, but they must have done something to deserve their losses. And it's all part of the plan, right?

My friend's god couldn't do anything to prevent earthquakes in Haiti, Chile, China, or Japan, but that would be a lot of work. But his eye is on the Bulldog.

And, let me remind you, my friend isn't one of those Bible-thumping fundalits like Pat Robertson. He's a respectable Christian, the kind by whom I'm often exhorted to judge Christianity. I judge Christianity by other standard-bearers, like the Jesus of the gospels, but if you want me to judge the faith by people like my friend, so be it.

4.0.1 Jewelcrafting Recipe - Punisher's Band

What can I say that the title doesn't? Not much. Here's some screenies to tide you over....

Design: Punisher's Band

4.1.0 Punisher's Band

How did I miss a jewelcrafting recipe? Per my normal late night check of wowhead.com, what do I see but this nice little addition....it seems it will be available for the "probable" 5 Illustrious Jewelcrafter's Tokens. I wonder if the stats are worth the investment....

Now of course there has been chatter about Maelstrom Crystals, and how they are gonna tank on release of 4.1.0. Do you fall into that category? I don't. The prices aren't gonna fall to the floor. Heroics? I highly doubt that Blizz will just let us run, over and over, the new heroics. A cooldown of some sorts in definitely going to be locked in.

The PTR's just showed that the Crystals can be bought from a vendor upon release. For 3750 *Justice Points. Now it might just be me, but I don't forsee someone giving up a set of boots they can get 10-15K for so they can get a Maelstrom....but I could be wrong. Now these will give a bit more into the market, but I don't forsee them dropping from 2ish down to 500g or anything. At least not in the immediate future...

And for the new BoE mount? Wow. That is gonna be a gold sink. However I am really wondering if they can/will do that. A mount? That drops? That can be sold? I am still very hesitant on putting too much into that basket. I don't see it as a farmable drop, or even a rare drop, but more epicish, as in very, very low spawn rate. In any definition, I will be buying one when it hits the AH.

Thats really all I thinking about for 4.1.0, am I missing some theorycraft? Probably. But my brain isn't working too well this morning, it's still sleeping as I should be...

*Note to self. After re-reading this, I will do my best to post AFTER I take my "breakfast" adderall.

Preparing for patch 4.1 - Huge opportunity incoming!

Patch 4.1 will make some rare spawns in Cataclysm zones more worthwhile to kill. This will be an opportunity you should not miss! For example, all rare elites will now drop BOE epics instead of BOE rares which should sell for 10k easily each, if you're lucky enough to win one!

But the main rare monster  you should note is Poseidus, which will drop an epic underwater mount (Reins of Poseidus) that binds when used! That means you can sell it to other players. Expect to get even 30,000 gold for it, assuming Poseidus stays as rare as it is currently. He can be soloed easily, as he's only level 81 non-elite.

The day before the patch goes live, you should park your toon where Poseidus spawns and start camping it right away once it goes live! To see it's spawn points, click on the name!

Other rare elites that will drop BOE epics:
- Mobus
- Garr
- Xariona
- Julak-Doom

Do note that 4.1 is still in PTR and it's highly likely that the reins will become BOP before 4.1 hits live realms!
